Here in Providence

Oh what fun! It's been quite a while since I've posted anything. Working on the dissertation and teaching has been quite time consuming! Anywho, I figured I'd blog about my travels to Providence, Rhode Island this week!

ECA has begun, so Kristen and I have trekked north to Providence, Rhode Island for the convention. :)

We flew a twin prop Q400 up and checked in to the Omni Hotel (FANCY!)

Today was fairly laid back, so we just explored the hotel... which is attached to a mall! WHAAAAT!?

After some shopping and unpacking, Cathy, Kris and I went out to the Providence Oyster Bar for dinner and drinks!

My menu:
- Raw oysters
- New England Clam Chowder
- Bay scallops, mashed potatoes and carrots
- Chocolate cake!!

DELISH! Our waitress was delightful and definitely entertained  our odd sense of humor
